In memory of Tim Marks, Be Like Jabronisaur Day (July 16, 2010) is formed for a day to pay tribute to our homie Jabronisaur by Doing Good Deeds, Spreading Love, Being Positive~ just like he was in real life and online at JPHiP.com
We lost Jabronisaur one year ago on July 16, 2009 - right after our successful meet up at Anime Expo, where JPHiP pimped like no other, gathering 30+ in a room at a time, meeting dozens more along the way. At the forefront, was Jabronisaur whom as a member of the Crack Staff, broke down barriers and mingled with fans from all over the world and net - making them feel like family. He exemplified what it was to be a HiPster, and made us so proud he was just one of our homies.
Jab will never be forgotten and on this day July 16th we shall pay tribute to everything he stands for!!
The When & How You start July 16, 2010, 12 AM your time. Do as many Good Deeds, Acts of Love and Positivity towards your fellow HiPsters, friends, family, and random strangers as possible! Post about it in this thread and everywhere to help keep the "Be Like Jabronisaur Day" movement going!
It doesn't matter how big or small. Examples can be like praising someones thread or post with constructive feedback, being nice in IRC, helping an old lady with the door, giving time to charity, making people feel part of the community by asking them how they are - stuff Jabronisaur did in his every day life.
Our goal is to have the spirit of Jabronisaur live on forever with every good deed we do, in a positive loving action and for this to be an annual JPHiP Event.

Thank yous to The Crack Staff - Masa, shirenu, lollipopgirl, tamatron - and kuno_thunder for the brainstorming. We got inspiration from Jaeson Ma's 365 Days of Love and Amy Crawford's Good Deed Day, and just the general need to bring a day to honor Jab in the most positive way.

The worst thing is to be stagnant. Always be prepared whenever, wherever. Like a certain back up quarterback entering into the 2001 NFL season for an injured Drew Bledsoe, one Tom Brady went on to become one of the greatest quarterbacks ever.
This is not about JPHiP, it's about ALL THE ISHIYOSHI, HANGRY & ANGRY FANS AROUND THE WORLD and potential future ones. We all benefit from this.

JABRONISAUR, R.I.P. Forever Remembered.
Jabronisaur aka Tim Marks passed away about an hour ago. The time is now 6:30 PM EST. July 16, 2009. Due to complications of rare pneumonia.
I just got a call from his brother Chuck. He told him there was 5 pages of well wishes...and that he had the best time in the world with guys like us at JPHIP who share a similiar passion. He mother and father by his side.. He could not respond but he heard.
Forever Remembered Jab, you did all you could possibly could at Anime Expo. Brother, Moderator, HiPster 4 LIFE. We love you.

Basically, the last time I talked to Jab was last nite. He told me had been quarrantined for 3 days. Then got the call tonight and Jab's bro Chuck told me he had been rushed to ICU, he couldn't breathe on his own and they put the breathing mask on him (respirator? nebulizer?) His fever was at 104.
RIGHT NOW. A glimmer of hope. The breathing machine he's been on, the pressure has gone down. His temp has stabilized.
Already contacted a few peeps. Thanks so much, we really really appreciate it. And exchanged doctor info and hopefully they can get to the bottom of things. Props roddrommel of JPM (whom DroolBoy told me he got diagnosed with swine flu) but calling him earlier said he's better and going back home).

SNSD IN BANGKOK 09 KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 
Three things that made me jumping with joy (literally);
1. Yuri's solo dance, especially the split at the end.
2. In GG whre she always cme up with her own move, she did the Thai wai and I just thought it was so cute.
3. She wore the shirt designed at the end of the concert. It was a desigh for the Thai forum I'm part of. Last Nov, a staff came to Korea and gave them 2 shirts each (along with other stuffs), the forum tees and the concert tees (not official, also designed by a forum staff). We didn't expect them to wear these because it was months ago and my design has the url in it and they weren't supposed to advertise anything. But there they were. yuri, Jessica, seohyun, Taeyeon and Tiffny in the tees with my design and the rest with the forum's concert tees.
Also, in the beginning, Yuri saw my sign and waved at me. KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
